If presidential elections were held right now, Joe Biden, the 46th President of the United States, might potentially emerge as its 47th President if he runs against former President Donald Trump. A well-known media organization released an exclusive poll finding that gave Biden a seven-point advantage against Trump.

The New York Post presented the findings of a poll done by WPA Intelligence in an exclusive. 1,571 registered voters were surveyed for the study. The age difference between 76-year-old Trump and 80-year-old Biden is 47% to 40%. This seven-point advantage is significantly larger than the 4.5 percent advantage that Biden used to defeat Trump in 2020. Additionally, it is significantly bigger than the 3.9 percentage point margin that Democratic President Barack Obama held over Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney in the 2012 election.

The WPA Intelligence poll also indicated that independent voters increased their support for Biden by almost double. According to the report, 14% of these voters supported Biden. In the previous presidential election, Biden received 9% of the independent vote, according to a Pew Research Center study.

According to the poll taken on Wednesday, Democrats are ahead in general down-ballot races by a margin of 47% to 42%. The top spot on the Republican ticket remains with Trump. The poll’s margin of error is plus or minus 2.5%. It took place from May 10 through May 13.

The former president continues to be less well-liked with voters despite the fact that the president has lost some of his initial support. 39 percent of voters gave the nation’s current commander-in-chief, Joe Biden, a good opinion, while 54 percent gave him a negative one.

Donald Trump, his predecessor and the previous president of the United States, received worse approval ratings. Only 32% of registered voters think favorably of Trump, compared to 62% who think negatively of him.

If both candidates stay in the race, the conflict between the two titans is predicted to be tight in 2024. The legal battles Trump is currently involved in could have a significant impact on the outcome of the 2024 election, which is still many months away.
