Former President Donald Trump uploaded his mugshot to the website he formerly favored (now under a different name X and owner Elon Musk) on Thursday. The same photo had previously appeared on his own profile. Earlier that day, he was taken into custody in Georgia and put into Fulton County Jail. Trump was arrested for the fourth time and booked into an Atlanta jail, where he was given a booking photo (sometimes known as a “mug shot”) and had his fingerprints taken.
Trump and 18 others have been charged with conspiring to overturn his loss in Georgia’s 2020 election. An Atlanta jail now houses all of the conspirators who were apprehended. Trump, Donald was given the inmate number PO1135809.
The 19 accused individuals who were given till Friday to turn themselves up have all done so.

Trump’s campaign site began selling merchandise with his mug shot and it included T-shirts, mugs and drink coolers. The mug shot is being used to raise funds for his 2024 presidential campaign. He remains the front runner among several Republican candidates.
After Trump’s supporters attacked members of Congress, he was banned from numerous social media sites, only to have his accounts restored years later. Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, acquired Twitter and promptly brought back Donald Trump. Musk has previously described himself as a “free speech absolutist.”
Trump’s allegation that voting fraud was the reason he lost the 2020 presidential election was widely disseminated on Twitter and other social media platforms. His account was deleted from Twitter and other social media after his followers brutally stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Donald Trump skipped a Republican primary debate on Fox News earlier on Wednesday. Instead, he did an interview on X with Tucker Carlson, the conservative analyst previously of Fox News.
