It’s been less than a year since celebrity Britney Spears was legally free from a strict conservatorship that lasted 13 years. Yet, the American singer-songwriter seems to still face a lot of media scrutiny including a claim that has been called false by both her and her ex-Kevin Federline. Two tabloids reported that Kevin had commented that the Baby One More Time singer was using drugs. Both Britney and Kevin condemned the report separately on social media. Web fans poured in sympathy.
Celebrity Britney Spears posted on social media that it was sad that people were reporting things that were untrue and it broke her heart and she felt that she was bullied by the media
She added, “It’s sad because everyone sits back as if that’s ok to make up lies to that extent…Why am I told I have to sit back and rise above???”
Kevin Federline also posted on social media that his family was saddened that reporters “decided to fabricate lies and publish the heartache” that his family had endured and the “trauma” that their children had undergone. He mentioned both the outlets in his post. He also called it clickbait and more.
As the tabloids continue to post news about Britney, earlier husband Sam Asghari posted happy footage that has remained unseen to date, from their wedding just a year ago. The couple got married on June 9, 2022. There were about 60 guests and some of the celebrity stars included Madonna, Paris Hilton, Drew Barrymore and others.
Celebrity Britney Spears’ attorney Mathew Rosengart wrote a strong letter to the Daily Mail about the story they published and asked them to delete it and retract the defamation and more. However, the Daily Mail said that it stands by its story.
