A stunning image of Saturn recently taken by the James Webb Space Telescope has been released by NASA.
Dione, Enceladus, and Tethys are just a few of Saturn’s moons that can be seen in Webb’s first near-infrared views of the second largest planet in our solar system.

Because methane gas absorbs practically all of the sunlight that strikes the atmosphere, Saturn appears darker than you might anticipate in the photograph because of the infrared wavelength being utilized to examine the celestial body.
