As he celebrates his 81st birthday, President Biden continues to enjoy high approval ratings thanks to a robust economic rebound.

On Monday, President Joe Biden celebrated his 81st birthday, as is his tradition at the White House, by pardoning two lucky turkeys.

The Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll found that the number of individuals who are pleased with Biden’s economic policy has risen from 41% last month to 44%.

On Sunday, the National Turkey Federation selected Liberty and Bell, two turkeys hailing from Willmar, Minnesota, as star birds.

Although both Liberty and Bell are Minnesotan, Biden made a joke about the birds’ names being inspired by Philadelphia’s famous Liberty Bell at Monday morning’s pardoning ceremony. “These birds have a new appreciation for the word, ‘Let freedom ring.'” he added.

As a family, the Bidens have always celebrated Thanksgiving on Nantucket. During his visit, Biden plans to contact military personnel on Thursday to express his gratitude for their service.

“As many of you know, it’s difficult turning 60,” Mr. Biden quipped when speaking at the same White House celebration, referring to his age. It has been 76 years since this incident took place. I was too young to fabricate anything, and I wanted you to know that.
