The partnership between Tiger Woods and Nike Inc., which brought in roughly $660 million for Woods has ended.

Tiger Woods‘ original deal with Nike was a groundbreaking partnership that began in 1996 when he turned professional. The iconic agreement was reportedly worth $40 million over five years, making it one of the most lucrative athlete endorsement deals at the time. The collaboration not only propelled Woods to global stardom but also played a pivotal role in shaping the modern landscape of athlete endorsements, with Woods becoming a prominent ambassador for the Nike brand for many years.

Tiger posted on X, the former Twitter platform, Woods stated, “More than 27 years ago, I had the good fortune to begin a partnership with one of the most iconic brands in the world.”
