Strong waves propelled by offshore storm surges struck a vital American military facility in the Marshall Islands on Saturday night, resulting in minor damage and forcing all “non-mission personnel” to evacuate.
Like a scene out of a Hollywood movie, Social media users have been sharing dramatic video footage from the incident, which shows a big wave smashing through doors and toppling individuals as water slams into the Army dining hall. A moment later, a second, seemingly taller wave hits, carrying more water with it.
