Before the upcoming November elections, President Joe Biden spoke at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, a critical battleground state.
During the graduation ceremony at Morehouse, one of the nation’s most prestigious historically black universities, President Biden appealed to African-American voters.
He informed the graduates that his administration supports an “immediate ceasefire” in Gaza, addressing the protests on campuses nationwide in response to Israel’s conflict with Hamas.
According to the White House, President Biden highlighted the importance of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and noted that his administration has made unprecedented investments in them.
