Over the years, Cardi B and Offset, the celebrity couple, have experienced ups and downs in their relationship. The Grammy-winning musician Cardi B recently accused hubby Offset of mistreatment during a tirade. She declared herself single earlier this month, even though the famous couple hasn’t yet filed for divorce. According to widely circulated information, the famous couple is being sued for allegedly failing to pay their rent and causing damage to a Beverly Hills vacation property.
According to documents obtained by several outlets, celebrity couple Cardi B and Offset lived in a luxurious mansion in Beverly Hills from early 2022. They left the property in October this year. The landlord claimed that they were not up to date with rent as well as utility payments.

The filing said, “Almanzar and Cephus, as well as their family, lived in the property for approximately 20 months, vacating the home without notice in 2023. [They] failed to pay rent and utilities for some time.”
According to outlets the landlord also said they found “significant property damage” after celebrity couple rappers Cardi B and Offset vacated the premises. The cost of damages caused was estimated to be $85,000.
The legal filing says Cardi B and Offset, whose real names are Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar and Kiari Kendrell Cephus that they destroyed the rental property they lived in.
Some of the damages that were listed included limestone tile floors having permanent scratches, furniture that had been broken, holes and marks in some walls, and burn marks on furniture including tables as well as on counters and cabinets. There was also colored paint on white leather couches and leather brown chairs in the dining room.
According to outlets the landlord tried to resolve the issue many times but was unable to do so and hence the lawsuit had to be filed as they “ignored” the house owner.
