Benjamin Reese, a 51-year-old Warner Robins Middle School seventh-grade teacher, was placed under arrest last Thursday.
Several witnesses reportedly told the Houston County Sheriff’s Office that he made threats to decapitate a 13-year-old girl who complained that the Israeli flag that was flying in his classroom disturbed her.
There are over 20 witnesses listed in the incident report.
According to online jail records, Reese, 51, was freed from custody on Monday after posting a $7,500 bond. If he had hired a lawyer to represent him, such information was not immediately available.
