Celebrity Taylor Swift has added another accolade to her extensive collection, delighting web fans across the internet. On Tuesday, June 4, 2024, the 34-year-old music icon secured her 65th BMI award by winning the Pop Songwriter of the Year title at the BMI Pop Awards 2024. The event occurred at the Beverly Wiltshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, while the rapper continued her Eras Tour across Europe and Great Britain.

This is not the celebrity singer’s first recognition from BMI; she previously received the President’s Award in 2009.
Other notable winners at the 2024 BMI Pop Awards included Miley Cyrus, who took home Song of the Year for “Flowers,” and Sony Music, which was named Publisher of the Year. Benny Blanco was honored with the President’s Award.
BMI President and CEO Mike O’Neill and BMI Vice President of Creative Worldwide Barbara Cane co-hosted the private event.
Taylor Swift’s tour continues with a performance on Friday at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is scheduled to perform for three nights. Her global Eras Tour includes 20 concerts across the UK and Ireland.
