Unnamed sources informed Bloomberg that an internal communication was delivered to nearly 2,000 employees. Authorities desire to remain anonymous as they convey the news because the announcement was not made public.
Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams and Vice President of the project Kevin Lynch informed the personnel about the project’s conclusion. Some approximately 2,000 employees are anticipated to be integrated into the AI section of the technology behemoth. Layoffs will occur, but the exact number of personnel affected has not been determined yet.
Apple initiated the development of an electric automobile in 2014. The initiative recruited former employees from Tesla and the electric vehicle startup Canoo, and it was dubbed the industry Titian.
