Celebrity Sean Diddy Combs is embroiled in another legal battle. An adult film actress has accused the rapper of human trafficking and sexual assault. Additionally, federal authorities are conducting a criminal investigation into the entertainment mogul.
Previously, singer Cassie Ventura sued Combs, and that case was settled. However, numerous other alleged victims have since filed lawsuits against him, citing sexual misconduct, trafficking, and other offenses. Combs, also known as Puff Daddy or P. Diddy maintains his innocence.
Adria English, a former adult actress, has filed a lawsuit against Combs, alleging sex trafficking and sexual assault. The complaint, filed on Wednesday, claims that the rapper exploited her as “a sexual pawn for the pleasure and financial benefit of others.”
The 114-page document details incidents of sexual misconduct that allegedly took place at “White Parties” held at Combs’ homes in the Hamptons, New York, and Miami, Florida.
This marks the ninth lawsuit accusing Sean Diddy Combs of sexual assault. While eight cases are still pending, the first lawsuit, filed by his former girlfriend, Cassandra Cassie Ventura, was settled for undisclosed terms. Sources indicate that Combs has been informed that he is under federal investigation.
Authorities from the Southern District of New York reportedly alerted Combs’ legal team about the investigation. A grand jury is believed to be reviewing evidence, though no charges have been confirmed yet.
Law enforcement officials raided Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami three months ago.
In May, celebrity Sean Diddy Combs issued a public apology on social media after a video surfaced showing him assaulting Cassie Ventura at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. Despite these developments, Combs and his legal team continue to assert his innocence.
