Rapper Ye, also known as famous Kanye West, apologized on social media to the Jewish community for his remarks that were considered antisemitic. On Tuesday, a new post was made in Hebrew on social media. He expressed regret in writing for the suffering caused and pledged to work toward reconciliation and atonement.
The Grammy Award winner appears to have deleted all of his previous social media statements, leaving just the December 26 apology in Hebrew, which appears to have been composed using translation software.
Rapper Ye has made attempts at apologizing before. He apologized for hurting people with his tweets and more when he went on Piers Morgan’s show in late 2022.

Adidas, Gap, and Balenciaga no longer endorse the well-known Kanye West. His records would not be released, according to record label Def Jam.
After making antisemitic remarks on Twitter, rapper Ye was banned. After the platform was renamed as X, he was given his job back after seven months.
Web fans are divided on Kanye’s apologies from Tuesday. Although a lot of admirers enjoyed his tweet, a lot of others felt that his apologies were not sincere enough. Web admirers also sent comments requesting that he issue an apology in English.
Some online followers regarded it as a positive start and desired that his deeds, not just words, would speak louder than words. Although they have applauded his “initial act of contrition,” the Anti-Defamation League stated that in the end, deeds would speak louder than words.
